GM Oshawa is looking for a dynamic, experienced Sealing and Welding Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the development, design, and execution of joining processes for Body‑In‑White assemblies. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and suppliers to deliver safe, capable, and reliable manufacturing processes. What You’ll Do
Lead welding, sealing, and joining strategy for Body‑In‑White assemblies. Serve as process owner for resistance spot welding, MIG welding, projection welding, drawn arc stud welding, self‑piercing rivets, clinching, and robotic dispense systems. Work with cross‑functional teams and suppliers to meet build requirements, launch timing, and production targets. Monitor process performance using plant data and analytics tools, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and throughput. Troubleshoot weld and joining is...
