Job Description

What you will do


  • Develop new welding technologies and drive technology transfer projects

  • Develop and implement WPQR and WPS

  • Monitor welders’ performance - examining and certifying welders

  • Maintain a register of valid welder competence approvals and WPQR and WPS

  • Maintain a register of welding quality

  • Developing local procedures necessary to meet legal and company requirements.

  • Lead or participate in improvement activities to improve welding quality and repeatability - non-conformities and corrective actions.

  • Participate in a global network of welding coordinators to ensure core welding competencies.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14731 and ISO 3834-2

  • Provide training for our welders (Lead Welding Academy development)
