Supply Hive Wales are looking for a Welsh‑speaking Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming Welsh‑medium primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working through the medium of Welsh and enjoys supporting children in a primary school setting. The school is looking for someone reliable, positive and enthusiastic who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Helping children with their learning, confidence and wellbeing
- Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Working through the medium of Welsh throughout the school day
Qualifications
- Is fluent or confident in Welsh
- Has experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting
