Minimum Qualifications
- Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and National Cert level 4 GET Certificate Services
Requirements
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or Equivalent)
- Valid Winding Engine Certificate issued by the DMR
- Must have driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED
- Onsetter’s Certificate
- At least 1‑2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC Winders or proof of competency for newly qualified WED
- Medical fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s licence (if applicable)
