My client is an A1 Main Contractor with a few decades of establishment in Singapore. They are seeking a MOM-registered professional, Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), who is responsible for enforcing safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and managing safety management systems (WSHMS) in the construction industry. They investigate incidents, develop safety procedures, and advise management to prevent accidents. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular, proactive site inspections to ensure compliance with WSH Act regulations and identify hazardous conditions. Develop, implement, and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) to control risks. Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
