**Job Title: Yard Driver (Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)**
**Job Description**
This role operates and moves tractor-trailers within a distribution yard to support warehouse operations and delivery activities. The yard driver ensures equipment is safe and compliant, maintains proper temperatures for refrigerated trailers, and completes all required transportation documentation in line with regulatory and company standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Walk the yard regularly to inspect vehicles, identify defects, and document findings in DVCR booklets.
+ Communicate maintenance needs promptly to designated team leaders and support staff.
+ Obtain tractor and trailer lists, record odometer readings, hub readings, and engine hours, and submit this information to the lease company on a weekly basis.
+ Ensure trailers containing refrigerated products such as cheese and chicken are maintained at appropriate temperatures.
