Job Description

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Yard Person to work in Widnes

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.55 to £14.00 per hour
  • Overtime available at x1.5
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30 to Midday (38.5 hour working week)
  • Duration: Temp to Perm

    • Job Role: As a Yard Person, you will be responsible for unloading steel plate, steel tube, and mechanical parts and storing them on racking. You'll pick materials from job sheets and diagrams to supply the manufacturing areas and follow drawings to assemble mechanical parts for dispatch. The Yard Person will also be tasked with picking items from different factory areas to prepare them for site delivery and installation.
