Academics is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Buarry. This temporary full‑time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young learners and delivering high quality, engaging lessons within a positive Key Stage 1 environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging and age‑appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Creating a calm and supportive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
- Maintaining positive communication with pupils, staff and parents
- Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and positive behaviour
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
