We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in university-level mechanical engineering teaching as well as research. The teaching focuses on the design, dimensioning, implementation, and lifecycle management of mechatronic systems. Another emphasis is on systems related to aircraft and other aerial vehicles, and experience in these areas is considered an advantage. Teaching is supported by high-quality classes and distance education systems such as Moodle.
Successful candidate will educate future professionals on Tampere University’s Hervanta campus, as part of mechanical engineering instructor’ community. We have modern teaching and research facilities and encourage employees to actively seek professional growth, among others, by attending the pedagogical training programs available at the University.
