Camden’s specialist provisions are recruiting Youth Mentors to support young people facing SEMH, anxiety, trauma and emotionally based school avoidance.
Responsibilities
- This role is about relationship‑building first — helping young people feel safe, regulate emotionally and re‑engage with education.
Qualifications
- It suits candidates from youth work, mentoring, care, criminology or psychology backgrounds who want real, impactful work outside a traditional classroom structure.
- No formal teaching background needed.
- What matters is patience, consistency and a genuine ability to connect.
£107–£115 per day. Immediate and September starts available.
